Children

Calling all 0-16 year olds! You are very welcome to come and explore the world of children and youth here at Christ Church Bangkok. We’d love to meet you. Here’s what we do:

Little Acorns (0-2's) & Saplings (2-4's)

Aim: To see little ones being nurtured from an early age into a relationship with Jesus.

What we do: Allow little ones to explore through play, song, Bible stories and sharing with others. This is to complement and support what they receive at home in a Christian environment.

Sanctuary (4-7's)

Aim: To come alongside and encourage children on their walk with Christ.

What we do: Provide a quiet setting where children can hear the stories of God and experience the work of the Holy Spirit in a language and environment that is age appropriate.

Kidz@10 (7-11's)

Aim: To help children grow in the knowledge and love of the Lord.

What we do: Provide space for lively learning through relevant and purposeful games, singing, praying and sharing; based on God’s Word.

Flashpoint (12-16's)

Aim:To communicate God’s love to young people, that they may come to know Him for themselves.

What we do: Explore with others how Christ can make a difference in our day-to-day lives. Regular social activities like bowling, ping-pong, movies, eating pizza, etc.

If you are over 16 years old – would you like to be part of the team that seeks to engage with these youngsters? Giving them room to explore and grow in their Christian faith and allowing them to express themselves as part of the wider church here at Christ Church Bangkok? We would love to have you join our various teams on a fortnightly or monthly basis – or more often if you wish?

We are looking for: story tellers, welcomers, administrators, games leaders, refreshment givers, people to set up, musicians, helpers, leaders, visionaries, clowns, etc.

[Please note that in line with our Child Protection Policy, participation in this ministry will require an interview and references to be taken. Please contact the leaders of the various groups or speak to Ineke Cook at welcome@christchurchbangkok.org for more details.]
